F.T. reviews "Nutcracker" with the San Antonio Symphony and Ballet San Antonio

F.T. reviews "Nutcracker" | San Antonio Charter Moms

Did you get a chance to see the San Antonio Symphony/Ballet San Antonio production of The Nutcracker? (The Symphony gave me a set of tickets for my family, and a set to give away; read more in this earlier post.) My kids, F.T. (age 6) and little sister G.N., loved it.

After the first scene, F.T. said:

That was GREAT!

During the battle of the Nutcracker and the Mouse King, he said:

Whoa! That was loud . . .  where did the cannonball go?

After intermission, he said:

There are TWO ballets?

During curtain calls, he said:

I liked it! Let’s do it again next week.

I am so grateful that I got to share this experience with my family. I hope we can make it a tradition.

Disclosure: The San Antonio Symphony gave me tickets for my family to use at the performance, and four tickets to give away.

  1. So cute!
My five-year-old kept asking when it would be over (during the last scene), but then as soon as we got up to go home, she asked when we could do it again. 🙂
Did your kiddos like the tumblers?

    • Little sister kept asking for a potty break, but she held it until intermission. 🙂 The tumblers were amazing! I lost count of how many handsprings they strung together.
