School board elections 2013: Southside ISD

Three seats on the Southside ISD Board of Trustees are on the May 11 ballot; all three races are contested. UPDATE: “Volunteer firefighter feud dogs Southside ISD board races”, Maria Luisa Cesar, San Antonio Express-News, April 28, 2013.

Place 3: Loren Brewer and Richard Quebe are challenging incumbent Theresa Balderas.

Place 4: Tony Luna is challenging incumbent Margie Cantu Lopez, Vice President.

Place 5: Norberto Chavez is challenging Lisa Salazar, President.

The remaining board members:

  • Craig Knapp, Secretary 
  • Raul Martinez
  • Frank Cannon
  • Alma Rosa Guzman
