Blogger party with IDEA Public Schools at Kiddie Park PicaPica

Yesterday morning, my blogger friends and I learned more about Choose to Succeed and IDEA Public Schools while our kids played at Kiddie Park PicaPica (earlier post) at a party sponsored by the George W. Brackenridge Foundation. As mentioned earlierIDEA South Flores (go Owls!) has a recruitment booth at PicaPica Plaza.

Many thanks to the experts who came to speak with us: Vanessa Barry, Director of Marketing and Communications for Choose to Succeed; Rolando Posada, Executive Director of IDEA Public Schools, San Antonio; Hailey McCarthy, Assistant Principal of Operations for IDEA South Flores; and Olga Bernal Owens, President of obo team, inc. marketing consultant for PicaPica Plaza. And Picorito, of course.

Also thanks to the fabulous bloggers and their adorable kiddos who came to the party: Lisa Branam of A Little Slice of Life and Schertz Family Fun, Amy Johnson of Maker Mama, Melanie Mendez-Gonzales of ¿Qué Means What?, Colleen Pence of San Antonio Mom Blogs, and Stacy Teet of Kids Stuff World.
