At this time of year, families who are researching schools for their children learn that different schools are at varying stages of the enrollment process. Some schools have already completed open enrollment, run their lotteries, and made offers; they are re-enrolling students for next year and making offers as seats open up. Other schools are still holding open enrollment, but those deadlines may be closing soon. Meanwhile, other schools still have open seats available in some grades for 2020–21, and even some for the current school year. We want to help you understand where the schools are now in their enrollment process and give you information about how to take action now, whether for this year or the next. To continue your research, we recommend that you download the free San Antonio Charter Schools app, visit the Guide to Charter Schools in San Antonio, and join the San Antonio Charter Moms discussion group on Facebook.
