As charter schools begin the enrollment process for the 2021–22 school year, we are tracking important dates like open houses (in person and virtual), open enrollment periods, and lotteries. We want to help you understand where the schools in their enrollment processes and give you information about how to take action now to get your children enrolled in great schools of choice. San Antonio Charter Schools That Are Accepting Applications This Week

San Antonio Charter Schools That Will Begin Accepting Applications Soon

  • CAST Tech High School, CAST Med High School, and the Advanced Learning Academy will begin accepting applications for enrollment for the 2021–22 school year on November 9, 2020. Open enrollment will end on January 29, 2021. Learn more in our enrollment guide.
  • Great Hearts Texas will begin accepting applications for enrollment for the 2021–22 school year on November 9, 2020. Open enrollment will end on December 11, 2020, and the lottery will be on January 13, 2021. 
  • San Antonio ISD is planning two application windows for the 2021–22 school year: the first application window will begin on November 9, 2020 and will end on January 29, 2021; the second application window will begin on March 24, 2021 and will end on April 16, 2021. There will be an online parent information session on the topic of “What are Choice Schools & Programs and How to Apply” on November 4.   • San Antonio Preparatory Community School will begin accepting applications for enrollment for the 2021–22 school year on November 16, 2020. Open enrollment will end on February 28, 2021, and the lottery will be on March 1, 2021.
  • Prelude Preparatory School, a new school, will begin accepting applications for enrollment for the 2021–22 school year on November 30, 2020. Open enrollment will end on March 12, 2021, and the lottery will be on March 19, 2021.
  • New Frontiers Public Schools will begin accepting applications for enrollment for the 2021–22 school year on January 1, 2021. Open enrollment will end on January 31, 2021, and the lottery will be the week of February 1, 2021.
  • EKHLA will begin accepting applications for enrollment for the 2021–22 school year on February 1, 2021. Open enrollment will end on February 29, 2021, and the lottery will be during the first week of March.
  • Pre-K 4 SA will begin accepting applications for enrollment for the 2021–22 school year on February 1, 2021. Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Read more in our enrollment guide.
