San Antonio Charter Schools That Are Accepting Applications This Week

• Great Hearts Texas is accepting applications for enrollment for the 2021–22 school year through December 11, 2020. The lottery will be on January 13, 2021. Learn more about Great Hearts Texas in our enrollment guide.
• BASIS Charter Schools is accepting applications for enrollment for the 2021–22 school year through December 15, 2020. The lottery will be on January 12, 2021. • Founders Classical Academy of Schertz is accepting applications for enrollment for the 2021–22 school year through January 15, 2020. Learn more in our school profile post.
• The Advanced Learning Academy, CAST Tech High School, and CAST Med High School are accepting applications for enrollment for the 2021–22 school year through January 29, 2021. • San Antonio ISD is accepting applications for enrollment for the 2021–22 school year for the first application window through January 29, 2021. • Lighthouse Public Schools is accepting applications for enrollment for the 2021–22 school year through February 5, 2021, and the lottery (if needed) will be five days later. The second open enrollment period will begin on March 1, 2021, and end on May 31, 2021, and the lottery (if needed) will be five days later.

• Jubilee Academies is accepting applications for enrollment for the 2021–22 school year through February 10, 2021.
• Promesa Academy Charter School is accepting applications for enrollment for the 2021–22 school year through February 10, 2021. The lottery will be on February 15, 2021. Read more.

• KIPP Texas Public Schools is accepting applications for enrollment for the 2021–2022 school year through February 19, 2021. The lottery will be on March 1, 2021.
• Compass Rose Public Schools is accepting applications for enrollment for the 2021–22 school year through February 20, 2021. The lottery will be on February 21, 2021. Read more in our enrollment guide.
• Southwest Preparatory School is accepting applications for enrollment for the 2021–22 school year through February 26, 2021. The lottery will be on March 1, 2021.
• San Antonio Preparatory Community School (SA Prep) is accepting applications for enrollment for the 2021–22 school year through February 28, 2021. The lottery will be on March 1, 2021.
• The Gathering Place is accepting applications for enrollment for the 2021–22 school year through March 8, 2021. The lottery will be on March 15, 2021.
• Royal Public Schools, a new school, will begin accepting applications for enrollment for the 2021–22 school year on November 5, 2020. Open enrollment will end on June 3, 2021, and the lottery will be on June 5, 2021. Learn more about Royal Public Schools in our guide.

San Antonio Charter Schools That Will Begin Accepting Applications Soon

• Prelude Preparatory School, a new school, will begin accepting applications for enrollment for the 2021–22 school year on November 30, 2020. Open enrollment will end on March 12, 2021, and the lottery will be on March 19, 2021.
• New Frontiers Public Schools will begin accepting applications for enrollment for the 2021–22 school year on January 1, 2021. Open enrollment will end on January 31, 2021, and the lottery will be the week of February 1, 2021.
• EKHLA will begin accepting applications for enrollment for the 2021–22 school year on February 1, 2021. Open enrollment will end on February 29, 2021, and the lottery will be during the first week of March.
• Pre-K 4 SA will begin accepting applications for enrollment for the 2021–22 school year on February 1, 2021. Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Read more in our enrollment guide.

San Antonio Charter Schools That Have Ended Open Enrollment

• Great Hearts Online, a new, full-time online school, is still accepting applications for enrollment for the spring semester, with classes starting January 4, 2021. Open enrollment ended on November 8, and the lottery was on November 17. Learn more about Great Hearts Online in our guide.

San Antonio Charter Schools With Open Seats Now

• Brooks Lone Star has open seats at some grade levels.
• Compass Rose Public Schools has open seats in some grades at both campuses, Legacy and Ingenuity.
• The Gathering Place has open seats.
• Jubilee Academies has open seats.
• KIPP Texas Public Schools has limited spots still available for this school year.
• Lighthouse Charter School has open seats in some grades.
• New Frontiers Public Schools has open seats in K–8 at Frank L. Madla Accelerated College Academy.
• Pre-K 4 SA has open seats for four year olds.
• Promesa Academy Charter School has open seats in kindergarten.
