San Antonio Charter Schools That Are Accepting Applications This Week

• Great Hearts Texas is accepting applications for enrollment for the 2021–22 school year through December 11, 2020. The lottery will be on January 13, 2021. Learn more about Great Hearts Texas in our enrollment guide.
• BASIS Charter Schools is accepting applications for enrollment for the 2021–22 school year through December 15, 2020. The lottery will be on January 12, 2021. Families can join the interest list now to get notifications about events and deadlines and register for an open house. • San Antonio Preparatory Community School (SA Prep) is accepting applications for enrollment for the 2021–22 school year through February 28, 2021. The lottery will be on March 1, 2021. • Prelude Preparatory School, a new school, is accepting applications for enrollment for the 2021–22 school year through March 12, 2021. The lottery will be on March 19, 2021.

San Antonio Charter Schools That Will Begin Accepting Applications Soon

• New Frontiers Public Schools will begin accepting applications for enrollment for the 2021–22 school year on January 1, 2021. Open enrollment will end on January 31, 2021, and the lottery will be the week of February 1, 2021.
• EKHLA will begin accepting applications for enrollment for the 2021–22 school year on February 1, 2021. Open enrollment will end on February 29, 2021, and the lottery will be during the first week of March.
• Pre-K 4 SA will begin accepting applications for enrollment for the 2021–22 school year on February 1, 2021. Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Read more in our enrollment guide.

San Antonio Charter Schools That Have Ended Open Enrollment

• Great Hearts Online, a new, full-time online school, is still accepting applications for enrollment for the spring semester, with classes starting January 4, 2021. Open enrollment ended on November 8, and the lottery was on November 17. Learn more about Great Hearts Online in our guide.

San Antonio Charter Schools With Open Seats Now

• Brooks Lone Star has open seats at some grade levels.
• Compass Rose Public Schools has open seats in some grades at both campuses, Legacy and Ingenuity.
• The Gathering Place has open seats.
• Jubilee Academies has open seats.
• KIPP Texas Public Schools has limited spots still available for this school year.
• Lighthouse Charter School has open seats in some grades.
• New Frontiers Public Schools has open seats in K–8 at Frank L. Madla Accelerated College Academy.
• Pre-K 4 SA has open seats for four year olds.
• Promesa Academy Charter School has open seats in kindergarten.
