The 2010 documentary Waiting for ‘Superman’, directed by Davis Guggenheim, features kids who are applying to get into better public schools, but have to win a lottery to get in.
One of the high-quality schools featured is the Harlem Children’s Zone, founded by Geoffrey Canada, in New York City.
