IDEA Public Schools announced leaders for the new campus in San Antonio, IDEA South Flores Academy and College Prep. “IDEA Public Schools promotes two to lead its newest San Antonio location”, IDEA Public Schools news release, January 29, 2013.
Constantine Polites will be Principal at IDEA South Flores Academy (grades K-5). He is currently a Principal in Residence at IDEA San Juan College Prep, and has also served there as founding teacher for 9th-grade English Language Arts, teacher leader, instructional coach, Assistant Principal of Instruction.
Sandra Hughes will be Principal at IDEA South Flores College Prep (grades 6-12). She is currently a Principal in Residence at IDEA Donna—the flagship campus. Since 2006, she has served as a teacher, teacher leader, and Assistant Principal of Instruction.
I am looking forward to learning more about these school leaders. Based on their track record in the Rio Grande Valley, I expect great things from them in San Antonio. This earlier post has more details about the South Flores campus.
