As discussed earlier, last year Robinson teamed up with IDEA to turn Carver Academy, the private school he and his wife, Valerie, founded in 2001, into IDEA Carver Academy and College Prep, an open enrollment public charter school on San Antonio’s East Side. Robinson continues to take an active role with IDEA Public Schools in the San Antonio area.
