The May 11 election did not affect the membership of the Southwest ISD Board of Trustees. Two at-large seats were on the ballot, and the incumbents, Sylvester Vasquez Jr. and Ida Sudolcan, were the top two vote-getters.
The remaining board members:
- Mike C. Frazier; term ends May 2014
- James Sullivan, Jr.; term ends May 2015
- Florinda Bernal; term ends May 2015
- Keith Byrom; term ends May 2015
- Yolanda Garza-Lopez; term ends May 2014
