East Central ISD trustee Randall Gearhart recently resigned, for personal reasons. “Third East Central trustee resigns in three years”, Francisco Vara-Orta, San Antonio Express-News (Mysa.com). The board will meet again soon to choose a replacement.
The last election for East Central ISD Board of Trustees was in November 2012. Here is the current board:
- District 1: Steve Bryant, President (through 2014)
- District 2: Monique Presas, Vice President (through 2014)
- District 3: vacant (through 2016)
- District 4: Victor Garza (through 2016)
- District 5: James Mulkey (through 2014)
- District 6: Claudia Barrientos, Secretary (through 2016)
- District 7: Dell Braziel (through 2014)
