Did you get a chance to see the San Antonio Symphony/Ballet San Antonio production of The Nutcracker? (The Symphony gave me a set of tickets for my family, and a set to give away; read more in this earlier post.) My kids, F.T. (age 6) and little sister G.N., loved it.
After the first scene, F.T. said:
That was GREAT!
During the battle of the Nutcracker and the Mouse King, he said:
Whoa! That was loud . . . where did the cannonball go?
After intermission, he said:
There are TWO ballets?
During curtain calls, he said:
I liked it! Let’s do it again next week.
I am so grateful that I got to share this experience with my family. I hope we can make it a tradition.
