- State Board of Education, District 3, Democratic primary: Marisa B. Perez (8,908) is leading incumbent Michael Soto (5,702)
- State Board of Education, District 5, Republican primary: incumbent Ken Mercer (13,829) is leading Steve Salyer (6,142)
Update: the Texas Tribune is calling District 3 for Perez and District 5 for Mercer.
