Regina Caeli Academy group forming in San Antonio to support Catholic homeschooling

Regina Caeli Academy group forming in San Antonio | San Antonio Charter Moms

Update: Classes will meet at St. George Maronite.

A group of San Antonio parents are interested in opening a satellite campus of Regina Caeli Academy for the 2014-15 school year.

Regina Caeli not a charter school; it’s a private, independent homeschool resource that offers classical education in the Catholic tradition. Classes are offered for grades pre-K through 12, and meet twice a week. Tuition costs are lower than most private schools because parents provide much of the labor.

Important dates:

  • March 4, 2014 at 7 p.m.: informational meeting at the home of Jenna Cole; contact her at jennadcole [at] gmail [dot] com for location
  • March 30, 2014: deadline to register for the 2014-15 school year

Update: A reader shared that there are two private, university-model, religious schools in the northwest San Antonio area, Summit Christian Academy in Boerne and Infinity Christian Academy in Leon Springs.
