Woodlawn Academy — International Baccalaureate
The Primary Years Programme promotes inquiry based learning through six transdisciplinary themes, key concepts, transdisciplinary skills, and the IB Learner Profile attributes. Our teachers have worked together to create a Programme of Inquiry unique to Woodlawn Academy so that our students grow in the IB over their time in the PYP. The culminating project of the Primary Years Programme is the 5th Grade Exhibition where students work in groups to investigate a topic of their own interest through IB components. Students then share their findings with the Woodlawn Community.
