As mentioned earlier, the Great Hearts Academies charter application is currently “under review” at the Texas Education Agency. In a recent email to supporters, Great Hearts announced that the State Board of Education has granted it an interview in November.
Also, Great Hearts announced plans to hold more informational meetings for parents in September and October. Their first informational meeting back in January was held downtown; the new meetings will spread out to Alamo Heights, Monte Vista and North San Antonio.
