[Alamo City Moms Blog] IDEA Public Schools expands to four campuses in San Antonio

Are you following Alamo City Moms Blog yet? They just published their 200th post. It’s grown into a great discussion place and source of information for San Antonio moms, and I am proud to be a contributor.

This week, I wrote a sponsored post for Alamo City Moms Blog about IDEA Public Schools, which is expanding in San Antonio. “IDEA Public Schools: Two new campuses in San Antonio {Sponsored}”, Inga Cotton, Alamo City Moms Blog, January 15, 2014.

The big news is that two new IDEA Public Schools campuses will open in San Antonio in 2014. IDEA Monterrey Park will be at 222 SW 39th Street, San Antonio, TX 78237 (map). IDEA San Antonio #4 (permanent name coming soon) will be at 6130 Walzem Road, San Antonio, TX 78239 (map), with a temporary office at 8700 Fourwinds Drive, San Antonio, TX 78239 (map). Both schools will offer grades K-2 and 6 in 2014-15, expanding every year until they serve grades K-12.

These campuses join IDEA Carver (founded 2012) at 217 Robinson Place, San Antonio, TX 78202, offering grades K-8 in 2014-15, and IDEA South Flores (founded 2013) at 6919 S. Flores Street, San Antonio, TX 78221, offering grades K-3, 6, and 7 in 2014-15 (earlier post about South Flores location announcement).

All campuses are currently accepting applications; apply online, by phone (210-239-4332), or in person by visiting a campus or attending an information session. The application deadline is March 31, 2014, and the lottery date is April 5, 2014.
