Rosalind Thompson, Head of Operations for BASIS San Antonio
Last week I visited the temporary office of BASIS San Antonio at 9901 IH-10, Suite 800, San Antonio, Texas 78230 (map) and met Rosalind Thompson, the new Head of Operations for BASIS San Antonio. She was busy accepting registration forms from parents who signed up during open registration (April 4-10). Meanwhile, in the background, Nick Fleege was conducting a phone interview with a prospective teacher, who might be presenting to students at a demonstration lesson soon.
Rosalind reports that grades 5 and 6 are on their way to closure, but there is still room in grades 7 and 8. Word of mouth is the best advertising; invite your friends to the information session on Sunday and ask them to sign up for the interest list at basislink.org. The BASIS San Antonio interim office is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily for parents to drop off registration forms, enrollment paperwork, etc.
