We are so excited to be the first and only public Montessori school in the San Antonio area. We opened in the fall of 2017 and currently serve students ages 3-7. Montessori is a different choice in education and differs from the traditional school setting. Students move about the classroom that has been especially prepared for them. This gives them freedom within limits which builds their confidence for independence. We have multi-age classrooms with three ages in a classroom which helps build leadership skills and gives students more time with the same teacher. After three years, the students advance to the next level. Our teachers spend a lot of time connecting with the families and learning about the whole child. While we have very high academic expectations of our students, we also spend a great amount of time teaching students about social and emotional health and how to belong in a community.
