Legendary Spurs player David Robinson showed his support for IDEA Public Schools at their annual gala on Thursday. Asked about why he invited IDEA to take over Carver Academy in San Antonio:
“Everything’s exceeded my expectations,” Robinson said. “A lot of our parents were concerned that since our kids are four grades above level that somehow things would not be as high of a standard.
“I came down to visit the campuses here, and it was always a high level of discipline, a high level of excellence and expectation. And it will only continue.”
