Who serves on a school board, their credentials and reasons for wanting to serve should be of interest to every voter. San Antonio has many well-run school districts with hardworking boards. Unfortunately, it’s the relatively small number of dysfunctional districts and boards that tend to grab the headlines.
The editors note that the filing period runs through August 20 for the election in November.
