A KIPP First Friday Breakfast always includes free coffee and breakfast tacos, but a First Friday Breakfast at KIPP Un Mundo is extra special because the student-led campus tours are run by five- and six-year-olds. How cute is that?
Principal Lozana
KIPP Un Mundo opened last year (see this earlier post about the ribbon cutting ceremony) and now offers dual-language education for kindergarten and 1st grade. KIPP Un Mundo Principal Luzdivina Lozana and teacher Herminia Corona presented at the ESC Region 20 Dual Language Conference last month. Another dual-language elementary school, KIPP Esperanza, is set to open in 2014.
