Last week, KIPP: San Antonio hosted Attorney General Greg Abbott, also a Republican candidate for Governor of Texas, for a discussion about education in Texas. Abbott praised KIPP: San Antonio for its record of getting students ready for college, and stressed the importance of competition to drive improvement in education.
