KIPP: San Antonio hosted a First Friday Breakfast at KIPP Un Mundo Dual-Language Academy yesterday. (My earlier post announcing the event.) A reporter from local ABC affiliate KSAT 12 came to tour the school and observe the ribbon cutting ceremony with leaders of the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (including my friend and SAHCC board member, Manuel Pelaez.). “Dual-language school teaches students in first language”, Jenna Hiller, KSAT 12, December 7, 2012.
