As mentioned earlier, IDEA Public Schools now has a recruitment booth at PicaPica Plaza. It’s open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays. IDEA staff are on hand to answer questions and help parents fill out the one-page application. (It’s the same as the online application, but sometimes paper feels better.) On weekends, IDEA alumni are on hand to answer questions. Information is available in English and Spanish.
PicaPica Plaza is located at 910 S.E. Military Dr., San Antonio, TX 78214 (map), close to the construction site (photo) for IDEA South Flores. The recruiting booth at PicaPica Plaza will remain open until the South Flores campus is operational this summer.
Besides the recruiting booth, another way to get information about IDEA Public Schools is to attend an information session at IDEA Carver.
