The historic neighborhood of Mahncke Park is located in the heart of San Antonio, covering roughly the area between Brackenridge Park and the San Antonio Botanical Garden, and built around its namesake city park, Mahncke Park. The Mahncke Park Neighborhood Association connects residents.
Mahncke Park is located in the San Antonio Independent School District. Currently, students are assigned to Lamar Elementary, Twain Middle School and Edison High School.
