[Video] BASIS San Antonio volunteers at the San Antonio Food Bank

The weekend before Thanksgiving, a group of BASIS San Antonio students, faculty, staff, and families volunteered to sort food at the San Antonio Food Bank.

BASIS San Antonio Head of School Tiffany O’Neill says, “It’s really important that our kids volunteer in the San Antonio community. They are already academic leaders, but they really need to be involved in community service.”

BASIS San Antonio Boosters President Richard Gross produced this video about the community service project:

The BASIS San Antonio team handled 13,836 lbs. of food, enough for over 10,809 meals. Let’s thank the BASIS San Antonio Badgers (yes, they have a mascot!) for their service to the community.
