“Walking in My Shoes” visits Walker Ranch Historic Landmark Park

I’m feeling inspired to visit Walker Ranch park after reading “New Favorite Park (San Antonio)”, Erica Bodker, Walking in My Shoes, October 22, 2012.

Links to more park information and interesting historical tidbits:

And a map, because I’ve driven by it a hundred times and never stopped before and didn’t know that’s what it was called:

Thanks for the tip, Erica!

  1. I wouldn’t recommend it for favorite park, but we did see an armadillo up close today in the middle of the morning. It’s a popular place for bike riders and kids to play. One of the kids seemed to be domesticating the squirrels. My dog was very intrigued.
