Spooky Snack Board Recommended Shopping List and Equipment List

Here is your recommended shopping list and equipment list to make the Spooky Snack Board activities developed by Chef Dave Terrazas, owner of Foodie Classroom, for our Charter a Voyage of Learning guide.

Recommended Shopping List

Non-food Items

1 package wooden skewers, 6” long (you will need 18 skewers)

Dairy

1 package cheese sticks (I found a cheddar-mozzarella combo)

1 pint Greek yogurt, plain

Produce

1 small container strawberries

1 small container blackberries

2 each medium size peaches or plums

3 each bananas

2 each round red apple (like honeycrisp, gala, etc.)

1 pint grape sized, or small cherry tomatoes

1 small pack fresh dill

2 each garlic cloves

1 each lemon

Pantry Items

1 3–oz bottle honey

1 small jar peanut butter, smooth

1 bottle vanilla extract

1 can black olives, large

1 small bag campfire sized marshmallows

1 small bag mini marshmallows

1 2–oz pack blanched, slivered almonds

1 container sea salt

1 container paprika

1 container black pepper

1 container ground cinnamon

Recommended Equipment

plastic wrap

cutting board

Santoku or traditional French chef knife

small mixing bowl

ramekins

small mixing spoons, or small whisks

package of skewers (as listed above)
